In our time together we'll touch the cosmological map this practice arises from — an ancient and precise understanding of consciousness, rest, and the threshold between waking and sleep. You'll receive a glimpse of this living tradition before dropping into a full guided Yoga Nidra practice.
To prepare for our time together, find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed — free of pets, phones, and interruptions. You'll be lying down for most of our session, so gather what you need to be completely comfortable: a yoga mat or soft surface to lie on, a bolster or ottoman to support your legs, a pillow or folded blanket under your head, and a blanket to cover yourself if you'd like.
The more comfortable and undisturbed you are, the more fully you can receive the practice. This is your time. Protect it.
